Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Skills UI (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Skills UI provides curated AI prompt skill files ("Skills") for use with AI coding assistants such as Claude, Cursor, and similar tools. Skills are delivered as downloadable Markdown files. Access to certain Skills requires a paid subscription or one-time purchase.

3. Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed. You may not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. License to Use Skills

Upon purchase or download, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Skill file in your own projects. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly share Skill files — in whole or in part — without prior written consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including Skill files, design assets, copy, and code, is owned by Skills UI or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. The Skills UI name and logo are trademarks of Skills UI.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or bulk-download Skill files; (d) impersonate another person or entity; or (e) use the Service to develop a competing product.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that Skills will produce any specific outcome in your AI tools. Your results will depend on the AI model, context, and how you apply the Skills.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skills UI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
